Apr. 30

Today my nephew Colson is turning 10! Makes me feel old because I remember him being born. I was pretty scared to hold him back then. He seemed to fragile and small. Now when I go home to visit he asks to play tackle football! He's sure changed a lot

I went to NDFS 200 class today and now I need to do some homework before going to the MTC to teach. I need to make life more interesting by not just going to class, doing homework and working. The only problem is that I'm not the most imaginative when it comes to thinking creative things to do.

That's probably why my phone calls home are usually kind of boring. I have little to report because I'm doing the same things! My aging (they're great, just a little older than me) parents have more things to report than I do sometimes. They're making all kinds of improvements to the house and planting gardens and doing all kinds or reportable things.

I guess there are worse things than not having lots of things to report to mom at the end of the week: at least I haven't broken any bones playing badminton with MinNhat or basketball with Matthew. Still need to figure out something imaginative and more fun than school to do though...
